Stacking & Conference Chairs
Stacking chairs have multiple and varied uses; they are particularly useful for areas which have multiple uses and which have changing seating requirements such as classrooms and conference rooms. The ability to stack the seating provides flexibility and ease of storage.
There are two distinct types: The upholstered visitors chair which is often used in waiting areas, as a visitors chair in offices and in meeting rooms
. These generally stack 3 - 5 high.
The plastic shell chair (normally polypropylene) which has a steel frame or legs, can stack up to 20 or more high on special trolleys. Lightweight and easy to manoeuvre these are ideal as conference chairs, in the classroom or as meeting room seating; chairs can be stacked and stored when not required.
Some conference seating also have the ability to link together which is ideal when creating a theatre setting. Some can also be provided with writing tablets for use as classroom seating or for lecture rooms.
